When choosing a toy shelf for a child’s room, you will provide them with a space that supports their development. Preschoolers eagerly make use of well-designed furniture from which they take toys or tools and transport them to their activity area, only to put them back later. The toy shelf has three shelves that the child has unlimited access to. The furniture stands directly on the floor and measures only 70cm in height.

The toy shelf is handmade from 15mm thick plywood made from hardwood. It has been painted entirely with environmentally and child-safe paints and meets the requirements of the European standard PN EN 71.3, among others.

All sharp corners and edges have been sanded and rounded, and the construction provides stability reinforced by massive backs, so even climbing on the shelves will not cause the furniture to topple over.

The product is designed for self-assembly, for which you only need a screwdriver and a few minutes of free time

Care Instructions:

The furniture is made from natural material that doesn’t like constant moisture but also doesn’t like dirt. Wipe the painted surfaces with a damp cloth from time to time. For more stubborn stains (e.g., crayon marks), moistened wipes work perfectly. Do not store the furniture outside – exposure to the elements can cause damage.

• No laminated or melamine plywood used in production;
• No heavy metals – PN-EN71-3 standard – Even the most innocent-looking toy in the hands of a child exploring the world can turn out to be dangerous. Furniture in a child’s room can also affect their health. For this reason, every product of this kind must be thoroughly tested. Requirements for toys and children’s furniture are defined, among other things, by the European Standard EN 71, the third part of which (EN 71-3) concerns the migration of harmful elements from products such as paints and varnishes. The standard specifies limits and methodology for testing the migration of eight elements: antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium(III), lead, mercury, and selenium;
• Safe formaldehyde concentration – hygiene class E01 – Formaldehyde is officially recognized as a toxic substance that contaminates indoor air. Breathing air in a room with excessive levels of concentrated formaldehyde can be harmful to health. Therefore, regulations regarding formaldehyde emissions are extremely strict. The plywood we use has the E01 hygiene class, which means minimal, completely safe formaldehyde emissions. It also meets the stringent requirements of the CARB ULEF certificate, which concerns the emission of harmful substances.
